how would you go about starting an animation project?
there would have to be a storyboard before the process actually begins
where would you get your story from, if your stuck?
any other tips are welcome !
cheers

Always before starting any animation project you need the clear storyboard. what you want to convey like any movie you need to give some message if its made for messaging purpose. If the animation is for fun then you should need to understand what kind of fun you will serve to you audience.

you should have clear storyboard based on your story board you need resource and you need to give the job to them. if your animation is more on one character then you need a resource who concentrate only on that character only.

for every animation project sound is playing very important role so you need to design you music also.. it should be based on you story.

for every good animation story its very important to start and end the story on write place you should not end the story when you are become familiar with you character.

Read news stories that are slightly surreal. Short stories and watching short films always help inspire me.
