I'm currently designing a menu for my high school graphic design class. It's of a small and quaint cafe. My issue is I do not have a font to use for the food I will be listing and their prices. I will use the same font for the quote that is on the bottom of the page of the menu too, which is currently at the default Myriad Pro.

I need a font that is easy to read and compliments or is complimented by the font of the headings. For those who want to know, that font is called AWPCDaisy.

Thank you fellow graphic designers! :)

Most Readable Fonts,

Fonts with few frills tend to be more readable. Consider Arial, Moderna, Helvetica and Cicle. Use the most readable fonts for food names and descriptions, so that customers can readily understand the dishes you offer. Be consistent and use the same font for all descriptions.

Mood Fonts

If your restaurant has a decor and an atmosphere. This requires you to use subjective judgment when looking at a font. For an artistic feel, consider a font such as Steiner, or Diavlo. If you cater to business people, consider fonts such as Corporate Bold and Times Roman, which closely mimic the kinds of fonts business professionals read in reports every day. For a neighborhood diner, look at no-nonsense fonts such as Geo Sans and Liberation Serif.
